CTMH Paper Bird Hostess Rewards Stamp Set

Here's a card I made using the new CTMH Paper Bird Hostess Rewards Stamp Set.

I was inspired by a card made by Margi Gilbertson. I loved the colour combo that she used with this stamp set so I had to do one myself.  I changed it a bit, using the CTMH Glacier patterned cardstock from the Whimsy Fundamentals paper pack. I tied a little knot in the Glacier twine instead of a bow.

I would have loved to have done similar to hers but both of my hands are sore right now so I had to be happy with just a little bit of stamping and no bow tying.

I used my CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut the circle, scallop circle and branch.

The solid cardstock is all CTMH:

Pacifica, Sky (retired), Canary, Sorbet & White Daisy & Pear.

I sponged Sorbet ink on the edges of the Butterflies.

I used some yellow chalk on the sun and light blue chalk on the white clouds.

I used CTMH Silver Shimmer Trim under the clouds.

The patterned paper is:

The images are all Design Space Make It Now except for the pennants which come from CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

Mojo Monday 377

I was finishing up some layouts from CTMH Brushed Workshop on the Go this weekend and was wondering what to do with all the leftover cardstock.

I came across the Mojo Monday blog and liked the sketch for this week so I thought I would give it a shot and use up some of that Brushed cardstock and I was also looking for something that would go with the December Stamp of the Month - Cutie Pie.

Love how this turned out - although the picture makes the Canary cardstock look quite harsh. It is actually a softer pretty shade of yellow.  I need to remember to take my camera out to my craftroom so I'm not always using my cell phone for pictures.

I used my Cricut with the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out the circle at 2"  & scalloped circle at 2.5".  I coloured the cupcake with chalks, added some glitter and added a ribbon under the scalloped circle to finish it off.
