Bash My Stash: Layout using SU Razzleberry Lemonade DSP

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

Working my way through my pictures from 2002 and bashing as much of my paper stash as possible.  I've been going to the paper holder with my old Recollections and Stampin Up papers before looking at anything newer.    The Razzleberry Lemonade DSP has always been one of my favourite SU products. I love the vibrant colours.

I used a sketch from the Scrapbook Generation e-book:  Simply Sketches Ebook: 4x6 Only (One-Page Layouts)

Layout using Pink Paislee with CM Project Recipe

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

I love working with sketches and after making the switch to Creative Memories, I was really happy to see that they provide Project Recipes with the release of each new paper pack.

For today's layout, I used the Creative Memories Mi Amor Project Recipe with supplies from my stash.

I love how easy it was to pull everything together with this Recipe.  I was able to use my Cricut, my CM Border Maker System, and some CTMH Thin Cuts and they all went so well together.

I love how the CTMH Peacock cardstock pops against the Pink Paislee background cardstock.

I used a Pilot Precise V5 Pen in my Cricut to add some journaling to this banner using the Kyden Cricut Font.

I cut my title from the Cricut Photo Fun - Holiday Memories cartridge.
The hearts on the title go perfectly with my CTMH Heart Thin-cuts.

Supplies Used:

  • Pink Paislee - Hello Sunshine Paper Pad
  • CTMH White Daisy cardstock
  • CTMH Peacock cardstock
  • CTMH Thin Cuts - Hearts
  • CTMH Bitty Sparkles
  • CM Border Maker System
  • CM Picket Fence Border Maker Cartridge
  • Cricut Kyden Font (Access)
  • Cricut Photo Fun -  Holiday Memories Cartridge (Access)
  • Pilot Precise V5 Pen - Black

Cricut Christmas In July: MIN Watercolour Christmas Card

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

I love the Make It Now Projects in Cricut Design Space, especially the pen projects.

Here is a MIN Project called Watercolor Christmas Card.

Instead of using watercolours, I decided to try out a new set of Prismacolour Pencil Crayons that I had purchased off of a local garage sale site.   It's been a long time since I've done any colouring but I really liked how smooth these pencils are - not bad for a $7 purchase.

I used a Pilot Precise V5 Black Pen in my Explore,  it was perfect for the fine lines in this project.
After colouring I added a sequin and a bit of silver cord for embellishment.

The images in this Make It Now Project are from the Anna's Christmas Cards and Embellishments Cartridge - on sale for $14.99 during Cricut's Christmas In July.

Also on sale for Christmas In July:

Cricut Explore Air Bundles starting at $229.99

40% off Supplies and Materials

Cartridges $14.99 or less

Clearance items starting at $.99

CTMH Blossom Scrapbook Layout with Springtime Wishes Thincut Dies

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

Working on layouts right now using up retired CTMH cardstock from 2015.

This layout uses the Blossom paper pack from last year's Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book and I got my inspiration from the cover of the 2016 Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book.   I love the new Thin Cuts metal dies that CTMH introduced in this Idea Book back in January.

I also used a pattern from the Regatta Workshops Your Way Guide.  The Workshops Your Way program was also introduced in the SE1 Idea Book - the layouts for these workshop kits are available to download for free right off my CTMH website.   Each guide is only available until that Idea Book retires so make sure you download the current layouts and then check back in September for the Holiday WYW layouts - each guide features card and scrapbooking layouts.

My son, the clown...

Springtime Wishes Flower on Blossom patterned cardstock with Lagoon and Pear die cut accents.  Embellished with Coral Reef Sequins and Bitty Sparkles.

Large cluster of Springtime Wishes Flowers using the cover of the SE1 as inspiration.   Embellished with Bitty Sparkles.  I cut the title and date pieces with my Cricut and sponged the edges of the Sunset and Glacier Cardstock with the coordinating inks.

I used a Ranger Clear Embossing Pen in my Cricut Explore to write the words out, then heat embossed with Ranger Super Fine While Embossing Powder.

Nesting Dolls Card from Crazy Cute Cards in Cricut Access

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

Cricut has added another awesome cartridge available exclusively to Cricut Access subscribers!
It's called Crazy Cute Cards and has great interactive cards on it.

I made this card using the Nesting Dolls Mother's Day Card #MF026EE image.  I love these little dolls, it reminds me of the set of nesting dolls my step-mother had when I was a kid.

I started by putting together my cuts for each of the three dolls.  I couldn't find a handbook online so I used the images in my Design Space Layers Panel for reference.

The file comes with three card bases and the two larger dolls have pockets for the dolls to nest in.

There are two of the larger size - the one without the flap I used as a backing for the large doll so you can't see the flaps from the pocket on the back.

I wrapped the tabs around the back of the piece with the flap then adhered the extra piece on top hiding the pocket strips.

Largest doll, I've attached the top piece so it will fold over to the front of the card.

I followed the same steps with the medium size doll, except I folded the pocket flaps in to hide them instead of wrapping around the back of the base.

Finished dolls ready to nest.

Medium doll inside Large Pocket.

This was such a fun project, currently available only for Cricut Access Subscribers.
There are so many great interactive cards on this new cartridge, I will be posting more soon.

Chicken Pox Scrapbook Layout using Cricut Dr. Checkup cartridge

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

Finished another layout this week from when my son had the Chicken Pox.

I used CTMH Magic How-to book for the page layout and used up some of my Bella Blvd Color Chaos scraps from previous layouts.

It is really hard to find cardstock to match Chicken Pox spots so a bit of the multi-coloured cardstock with some Recollections embossed cardstock in red had to do for the spots on my layout.

I used Recollections solid cardstock for my Cricut cuts and embellished with a bit of CTMH Red Shimmer Trim.

Cricut Cuts Used:

Dr. Checkup for title and thermometer
Barnyard Babies for Chicks
Plain Jane Cricut Font for Date (from Cricut Access subscription)

Kids Basketball Layout using CTMH Charlotte Workshop Cutting Guide

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

I love the Workshop Guides and How-To Books from Close To My Heart.  They were the first products that really made an impression on me 2 years ago when I signed up as a Consultant, and have changed how I scrapbook.

I've gotten way more pages done in the last 2 years all because of these books.  Although there are thousands of sketches available online I always turn to the guides because they have all the measurements laid out for cutting and placement on the page.

The page I made below uses the Charlotte Workshops Your Way Cutting Guide.

Here is the example layout from the Charlotte Workshops Your Way guide.

My layout using the same pattern but adding in an extra photo and using Cricut cuts.

Fun basketball Cricut cut - my daughter had curly blonde hair when she was a kid, so I cut this image to match and placed it beside the photos of her throwing the ball at the hoop.

This cut from the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge is perfect for this Coca-Cola Family Picnic layout.  I'm sure I'll be using it alot since I have more pages to scrap from other Coca-Cola employee family events.

Car Show Layout Using CTMH Urban

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

Here's another masculine layout using the CTMH Urban paper packet from the current CTMH Annual Inspirations Idea Book.

I went with a very simple layout and only used a bit of Shimmer Trim for embellishment.  I choose to highlight a few pictures taken at a local car show that is held here every Spring.

I used Whisper cardstock as my base with patterned cardstock from the Urban paper packet with a little bit of Bronze Shimmer Trim as a border.  I sponged the edges of the Saffron photo mats with Desert Sand Ink.

I created my page title using a cut from the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge using Saffron and Slate cardstock.  I used a pen in my Cricut Explore to write the title with the Everyday Fonts - Big Day font in my Cricut Access subscription.  I was originally going to cut out the title and have black cardstock show through but the letters were tiny so I switched to the writing feature instead.
