I've been working on a set of layouts from 2000 when my family went on a day trip to a nearby lake.
I found a sketch on Pinterest and copied the photo placement but changed the background.
I used CTMH Jackson paper pack (retired) on CTMH Glacier cardstock. I cut a strip of CTMH Bronze Shimmer Trim in half lengthwise to add a thin border to the top and bottom of the White & Glacier patterned cardstock. I cut a zip-strip off of one of the Jackson papers and added it as a border to the right of the page. I glued a strip of CTMH Glacier Thick Twine between the edge of my patterned cardstock and the zip-strip and fastened it at the top and bottom with CTMH Mini Staples. I've left some room to add in the date and place. I usually add my journaling after taking pictures for my blog.

Cut the top 4x6 in half and place a 3x3 on each page. Cut about an inch off of the picture below and was able to place another picture beside to create somewhat of a panoramic shot of the lake.
The title was cut from Campin' Critters Cricut cartridge using CTMH Jackson cardstock with CTMH Juniper and CTMH Cocoa. I sponged the edges of the White & Glacier patterned cardstock that was used in the title and on the layout with CTMH Glacier Ink.
